This event is a great opportunity for you to learn about the benefits of yoga and how it can help anyone who wants to get back in shape or simply want to feel better. 

Yoga is not only a fun and accessible form of exercise, you might even be able to get some of your friends, colleagues, and contacts to join you!

Yoga helps people who are overweight lose stubborn weight and belly fat, and improve their general health and wellbeing.

 Our bodies need a certain amount of vitamins and minerals in order for us to have energy. If you are eating a healthy diet, but not getting enough protein or other vitamins and minerals through your food, you may be eating too many calories and gaining weight. If you’re exercising more than usual but not losing weight it happens so sometimes that even after eating most healthy and burning calories with exercise, some of us still don’t lose excess weight. Now, this could be because of over-exertion, or inflammation of one’s body. The paradox in such a case is that if you exercise too hard every day, there are chances of rather getting an excess of inflammation in your body. This inflammation if happens and stays over a period of time, makes you gain more weight than lose.

 This calls for yoga under the guidance of a proper guru or expert teacher! Regardless of one’s size or flexibility, yoga’s benefits are for everybody. And far more than just the body! As yoga works way more than just an exercise; it heals at the mental and emotional level as well!

 Hence Yoga for weight loss is not just about obesity. Yoga helps you with emotional health, stress management, and much more. Yoga is a spiritual practice that has been around for thousands of years and it’s been proven to be effective in a number of ways.

 Yoga has been shown to increase self-esteem, reduce anxiety and depression, improve sleep quality, decrease PTSD symptoms, and increase mindfulness. Hence it is overall effective for weight loss in both men and women. It is a practice that has been around for centuries and has become an increasingly popular form of exercise, and it is no wonder that the number of people who practice it has tripled in the last decade.

Yoga poses are designed to be done in sequence and are often called “poses” or “asanas”. There are many different types of yoga poses that have different benefits for the body.

Yoga is a lot about the breath, awareness and asanas! It can be a great way to focus on your breathing while you’re moving your body. Yoga can also help you lose that belly fat! In all it helps you feel less stressed out, which can make you feel better about yourself. Yoga is a practice that can truly be for every body!

‘YES to Yoga talks’ was launched on the International Yoga Day dated 21st June 2022. It was the first of the event series called ‘HealThyRam – Niramaya Bharat Series’. It is an online and hybrid event series with a collective mission to connect, promote and work with all wellness experts, masters, leaders, and seekers. 

 The driving force behind the series is our simple belief that “A healthy body and a healthy mind are needed for a skillful and Innovative application of any acquired knowledge to bring about Economic Development.” 

 We welcome you to join, volunteer, promote and support our initiatives and our journey through our future series! 

We have the power to change the world by working together!
