About this check
What it is
A one-minute paced breath: breathe in for 4 seconds, hold gently for 2, and release for 6. Five rounds make one calm minute.
How to do it
Sit comfortably. Follow the face: it grows as you breathe in and settles as you breathe out. Breathe through the nose if you can, and never strain on the hold.
Safety
A relaxation exercise, not treatment. Stop if you feel dizzy or light-headed, and breathe normally.
Private
Nothing is sent anywhere. The count of calm minutes stays on this device.
Questions
Why 4-2-6?
A longer out-breath than in-breath gives a slow, steady rhythm that is easy to follow. The short hold is gentle; skip it if it feels like a strain.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Tap "Keep on phone" after your first minute and it opens like an app, even without a connection.
Is this a treatment?
No. It is a relaxation exercise, not treatment. If stress keeps coming back, talk to a qualified practitioner.
