Do Saffron Threads Dissolve?No, Original Saffron Threads Never Dissolve or Melt in either Water or Milk. Though some customers confuse in this. When Dipped in Milk/Water some Threads may float up and some may dip down. You can use strainer to filter our threads. As water is opaque this issue dont arise in it. Another Important Point to note- Some Threads may Disintegrate when dipped in Boiling/Hot Water or Milk or if kept for long time in either water or milk.
Purity! Floating up or Down?There is no relation between Purity of Saffron and its floating up or settling down. It is common that some threads keep on Top, some in middle, some may lie down.
Saffron Threads turn Opaque?Interestingly most consumers don’t know the fact that Saffron Threads (depending on potency) will turn opaque when dipped in either Water or Milk. It can be within hours to days. Saffron Water will also turn opaque/transparent within days.
